Safeguarding Leadership Summit 2026 Highlights

Hosted by Haileybury Bhaluka in collaboration with Cambridge University Press, Asia, the Summit brought together education leaders and safeguarding professionals at Le Méridien Dhaka for an important conversation on creating safer, more supportive learning environments for every child.

Led by Simon O’Grady, Headmaster of Haileybury Bhaluka, alongside Sarwat Reza, Country Lead, Cambridge University Press & Assessment, and Juliet Gomes, Academic Advisor, Cambridge University Press & Assessment, the Summit brought together local and international perspectives on strengthening safeguarding in schools.

We were honoured to welcome Bobby Hajjaj, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education, as Chief Guest, with valuable contributions from Simon Howarth of CPOMS and Emily Konstantas of The Safeguarding Alliance (TSA).
