Being a pupil at Haileybury Bhaluka is much more than a narrow academic experience. Education of the “whole child” is at the heart of our values. The essential purpose of the co-curricular programme in our school is to holistically generate and develop his interests, engagements, passions, and skills well beyond the academic curriculum. Embracing sport, music and the arts, alongside Model United Nations and the International Award (Duke of Edinburgh) scheme, we offer a wide range of organised co-curricular activities designed for our pupils to discover and experience new possibilities in the safe and disciplined environment of our peaceful residential campus. We strongly believe that such discoveries lead to the excellence of character we all desire for our children.
Sports clubs include football, cricket, rugby, kabaddi, lacrosse, field hockey, basketball, tennis, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, swimming, sculling, kayaking, health & fitness, and golf.
Leadership clubs include Model United Nations, public speaking, debate, chess, and entrepreneurship & business.
Arts and culture clubs include music, dance, drama, theatre, film, fine arts, handicrafts, origami, and animation.
Science and Technology clubs include mathematics, chemistry, digital & web design, programming & robotics, architecture & engineering, horticulture, and aquaculture.
Our clubs come together and compete with their counterparts in other international schools in Bangladesh and throughout the region. Furthermore, our co-curricular activities create the opportunity to engage with the greater Bhaluka community via social and environmental outreach projects.
