The admissions team welcomes families from diverse backgrounds for discussions on how we can support a student's needs and aspirations. We can also arrange for you to meet one of our school leaders and our international school counsellor. We recommend you come and visit on a normal school day, during term time, to fully appreciate the special spirit that defines Haileybury Bhaluka.

You can submit applications at any time of the year. Application forms are available for download on the applications page. Please submit it in person at the Dhaka admissions office or online to the Admissions team. Each application form (one per child) must be accompanied by specific supporting documents and the Application Fee. The required documents at this stage include:

  3. A copy of student's Municipal birth certificate / passport
  4. A copy of student's most recent Report Card / Transfer Certificate
  5. A copy of the parent’s TIN Certificate
  6. A copy of the parent NID

If your child has any special needs or disabilities, parents are required to inform the school at this point and provide comprehensive written details and reports prepared by an Educational Psychologist or another qualified specialist. Failure to disclose special needs may result in the withdrawal of the student's place.

Before assessment, the Application Fee of $150 per application should be settled. Payment can be made in cash at the Accounts Department, via online payment, or via bank transfer. Payment details can be found on the Fees page of the school.

The fee structure remains the same across all year groups.

All applications undergo a thorough review by the Headmaster. If an applicant meets the Selection Criteria, they will then be invited to the school for an assessment.

The Assessment Process and Selection Criteria vary depending on the child's age and entry point, typically involving an entrance assessment test (CAT4).

In addition to evaluating current academic and linguistic abilities, our procedures assess the applicant's character and their potential to thrive in our dynamic learning environment.

Each child's application, including the application form, assessment results, and reports from previous schools, will be reviewed by the Headmaster. The Headmaster will ultimately decide whether to extend an offer. After the decision has been made, parents will receive notification from a member of the Admissions Team regarding the application's next steps.

Upon a successful application, a Letter of Acceptance will be presented, along with an Acceptance of Place Form, details about Medical Insurance, an invoice for the Admission Fee, and a copy of the School’s Terms & Conditions booklet.

The Acceptance of Place Form must be duly signed and returned along with the Admission Fee within the specified timeframe outlined in the Letter of Acceptance. Failure to adhere to the deadline may result in the withdrawal of the offer.
