The admissions team welcomes families from diverse backgrounds for discussions on how we can support a student's needs and aspirations. We can also arrange for you to meet one of our school leaders and our international school counsellor. We recommend you come and visit on a normal school day, during term time, to fully appreciate the special spirit that defines Haileybury Bhaluka.

You can submit applications at any time of the year. Application forms are available for download on the applications page. It's important to note that the fee structure remains the same across all year groups.

All applications undergo a thorough review by the Headmaster. If an applicant meets the Selection Criteria, they will then be invited to the school for an assessment.

The Assessment Process and Selection Criteria vary depending on the child's age and the entry point into the school, typically involving an entrance assessment test (CAT4).

In addition to evaluating current academic and linguistic abilities, our procedures assess the applicant's character and their potential to thrive in our dynamic learning environment. This process also helps us identify any specific support needs the applicant may require to achieve their goals and determine if Haileybury Bhaluka is the right school for them.

(Please be aware that we do not assess applicants any earlier than 12 months before the intended enrollment date, and a place will not be offered until the school is satisfied that all entry criteria, including successful assessment, have been met. If a family applies significantly in advance of the intended enrollment date, they should expect a considerable delay before further action is taken regarding assessment and decision).

For more information on our assessment process and criteria, please refer to the Admissions FAQs.

Each child's application, including the application form, assessment results, and reports from previous schools, will be reviewed by the Headmaster. The Headmaster will ultimately decide whether to extend an offer. After the decision has been made, parents will receive notification from a member of the Admissions Team regarding the application's next steps.

In cases where an applicant meets the necessary criteria and standards but no vacancies are currently available, they will be placed on the waiting list. Once an offer is accepted, the Admission Fee will be required to be paid.

Upon a successful application, a Letter of Acceptance will be presented, along with an Acceptance of Place Form, details about Medical Insurance, an invoice for the Admission Fee, and a copy of the School’s Terms & Conditions booklet. (Please be advised that the School’s Terms & Conditions are periodically updated, and the current version is always accessible on the Parent Portal.)

The Acceptance of Place Form must be duly signed and returned along with the Admission Fee within the specified timeframe outlined in the Letter of Acceptance. Failure to adhere to the deadline stated in the Letter of Acceptance may result in the withdrawal of the offer, with the place being allocated toanother applicant.

Prior to enrollment at Haileybury Bhaluka, families are required to submit any outstanding documentsand fees due for the first term (or any remaining portion thereof).
