Honouring International Mother Language Day at Haileybury Bhaluka

আজ আমরা ২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারি যথাযোগ্য মর্যাদায় পালন করেছি, ভাষা আন্দোলনের শহীদদের সাহস ও আত্মত্যাগকে শ্রদ্ধার সঙ্গে স্মরণ করে।

আলোচনার মাধ্যমে আমরা এই দিনের ইতিহাস জানার পাশাপাশি উপলব্ধি করেছি যে স্থানীয় উপভাষাগুলোও আমাদের ভাষার অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ। ভাষা শুধু যোগাযোগের মাধ্যম নয়—এটি আমাদের পরিচয়, সংস্কৃতি ও অনুভূতির প্রকাশ।

আসুন, আমরা সকল ভাষা ও সকল কণ্ঠস্বরকে সম্মান ও সংরক্ষণ করি।

Today, we commemorated 21st February, honouring the courage and sacrifice of the Language Movement heroes who stood for the right to speak in their mother tongue.

Through reflection and discussion, we explored the history of this significant day, recognised how local dialects are an essential part of our linguistic heritage, and understood that language itself is more than words—it is identity, culture, and expression.

Let us continue to respect, preserve, and celebrate every language and every voice.
