Our Houses
Our residential House system in Haileybury Bhaluka is based on the traditional boarding house programme at Haileybury in the UK. It is the centre of school life. Our pupils benefit from a dedicated house master or mistress and two assistant house masters/mistresses. Each house also has a matron who ensures efficient management.
Every pupil and academic staff member belongs to one of the eight Houses named after regionally celebrated, ancient rivers across Bangladesh:
- Jhenai House (Mymensingh)
- Turag House (Dhaka)
- Halda House (Chottogram)
- Manu House (Sylhet)
- Kaliganga House (Barisal)
- House Pasur (Khulna)
- House Dharala (Rangpur)
- House Baral (Rajshahi)
Each state-of-the-art boarding house is designed to inspire a holistic environment that nurtures academic excellence, creativity, and innovation. Living in our dorms offers the disciplined and peaceful space your children need to thrive as individuals who add value to their family, school, and community.
