How to apply

General Entrance Procedure:

  • Year 7 (Age 11 years)
  • Year 8 (Age 13 years)
  • Year 9 (Age 14 years)

The general entrance procedure includes five main stages.

Stage 1 – Enquiry

Thank you for your interest in Haileybury Bhaluka. Please complete the short admissions enquiry form below to speak with our admissions counsellor.

Stage 2 - Registration

After successful consultation with our admissions team, to register your child at Haileybury Bhaluka, you will need to complete a Registration Form and pay a non-refundable fee of USD $150 and submit a copy of your child’s –

  • passport/ birth certificate
  • passport size photograph
  • copies of national identity card (NID) of parents and
  • most recent school report.

After having received the relevant documentation and payment, we will place your child’s name on our waiting list, which will ensure that they will be considered as a candidate to Haileybury Bhaluka.

Stage 3 – Entrance Assessment

All registered candidates will be invited to sit for our entrance examination CAT (Cognitive Ability Test) which will take the form of 3 standardised tests.

As a part of the procedure, we will request a reference from your child’s current school. In addition, all registered candidates and parents will have an interview with the Headmaster.

Stage 4 – Visit Haileybury

The families of registered candidates are encouraged to visit the School by attending one of our Open Days or by individual appointment during term time.

Stage 5 – The Offer

Successful candidates will be extended an offer of admission and asked to secure their place with an Acceptance Deposit.
